On 11th November 2010, Scuderia Ferrari announced, in its classic laconic manner, that Jules Bianchi would be a test driver as from the 2011 season. The FDA driver thus officially entered the world of the highest level of motor sport, although he had actually already driven a Ferrari F1 car as part of his training with the academy run by Luca Baldisserri. Having spent the 2012 season as the third driver at Force India, taking to the track for various Friday morning sessions, this year, Jules made his debut as a race driver with Marussia. To date, his best result is a thirteenth place in the Malaysian Grand Prix.
