The countdown begins in Florida

Maranello, 21 January – The countdown has begun to the Florida Winter Series, a new championship run over four rounds. It is supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy and features a host of promising young racers from around the world. It’s an original training programme before they tackle their main series later this year. Twelve drivers will take part at the wheel of the Tatuus FA10B, a single-seater, with ample performance to prepare drivers for a wide range of series. Each driver can count on the support of a team of engineers and mechanics to ensure the car is properly run and that all of them deliver equal performance. Florida is the chosen venue because of its ideal weather, while it’s also geographically perfect from a racing and logistical point of view. Races take place at three circuits: Sebring (25-27 January,) Palm Beach (3-5 February,) and Homestead which hosts a general test on 22 January, before two meetings on 12-14 February and 17-19 February, using different track layouts.
