From the grid to the griddle

Maranello, 9 September – During a workshop for the Ferrari Driver Academy, known as “Day in Red,” the idea was born to shoot a video which featured the students trying their hand at some cooking. Two of the students, Antonio Fuoco and Raffaele Marciello jumped at the chance. They took part in a job-swap challenge up against two young cooks from ALMA, an international school of Italian cooking, based in Colorno, in the province of Parma. In the first episode of the mini-series, which can be seen on-line as from today at www.ferrari.com, the aspiring cooks, Nicola and Roberto tackled coordination exercises and had a go on the simulator, all key elements in the training of a young racing driver. In the second round, Antonio and Raffaele will be at the stove, preparing pies and pasta, with completely unpredictable results.
