Maranello, 4 February – The three test drivers available to Scuderia Ferrari this season for its development work on the F14 T and other racing and promotional activities are all well known names and faces.
Davide Rigon has extended his relationship with Ferrari for a further two years. Having started with some simulator work, Davide’s involvement last year culminated with driving at the Silverstone test. Furthermore the driver from Thiene (Italy) will fly the flag for AF Corse in the FIA World Endurance Championship, at the wheel of a 458 GT2, the car that won the world title last year.
Also confirmed are the other two test drivers, the Spaniards, Marc Gene and Pedro de la Rosa. The departure of Felipe Massa means that Marc is now the longest serving Prancing Horse driver, given that his relationship with Ferrari began in November 2004. For De la Rosa, this is his second year on the books at the Scuderia.
