French Grand Prix - Charles on second row, Seb on fourth

Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will start the 60thFrench Grand Prix from third on the grid, while his Scuderia Ferrari team-mate, Sebastian Vettel will be on the seventh spot. The race gets underway at the Le Castellet circuit at 15.10 tomorrow.

Q3. In the final top ten shoot-out, Charles and Sebastian ran the Soft tyres. The Monegasque driver did a 1’29”015, while the German had to abort his first run and pitted for fresh tyres.

Key laps. On his second run, Leclerc managed to improve, getting down to a 1’28”965, which secured him third place on the grid, behind pole man Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. On his only timed lap, Sebastian managed a 1’29”799, which will see him line up seventh tomorrow.
